First up, from our misc fabness board: I do not know for sure what these are (wrapped soaps?) but they sure are gorgeous. I tracked down this eye-candy photo and it’s by very talented professional photographer Nicole Franzen.

From eats: I might be the only one on the planet, but true confessions, I don’t go gaga for ombre anything. Or blue cakes. However. This confection with its unusually designed layer decoration, sweet hues, and whimsical crown-like topper had me at hello. Seen on the Ruffled blog, image by Jaylena Photography.

And taking home the prize for florals that aren’t floral…is this interesting and surprisingly beautiful bouquet made from the pages of a (presumably favorite) book. Coincidentally from the same wedding as the blue ombre cake.

In the fashion department, from our threads&kicks board, I must say I am loving the look of these maids for a fall/winter wedding – scarves, cardigans, tights, suede booties, and all. Oh, and I hear the dresses have pockets! Seen on Wedding Chicks, image by Kristina Curtis Photography.
