As we close out another week, here are our favorite Pinterest Pic(k)s from the last seven days. If you’re not following us already, why not go to the Love Letters Pinterest page right now and click “follow.” Happy pinning!
First up from our threads&kicks board, let’s hear it for grooms and groomsmen! Especially when they are this stylish. Via Design Sponge, image by Scott Clark Photo. And the second shot from Ruffled Blog, image by Shari+Mike Photographers.
On our eats board is this beauty. I think that I may never tire of chevrons. Especially in one of my favorite colors. And on a cake. What’s not to love? Seen via Cake Central, photo by Brooke Allison Photo.
And a centerpiece to match.
Finally, here’s our Love Letters shot of the week, from the new products board: Introducing reception signs to keep your guests in the know. This one is from our Luxe collection. Designed to go perfectly with Love Letters table cards, seating cards, menus, and thank you cards. Everything comes in all four type styles: Classic, Luxe, Whimsy, and Saissant. Go check them out!
Have a love-filled weekend! See you next week.
Can it really be Friday again already? Time for the second installment of Love Letters’ end-of-week Pinterest Pic(k)s. P.S. You don’t have to wait for Friday: If you’re not following us already, just go to the Love Letters Pinterest page and click “follow.” Happy pinning!
First up, from our misc fabness board: I do not know for sure what these are (wrapped soaps?) but they sure are gorgeous. I tracked down this eye-candy photo and it’s by very talented professional photographer Nicole Franzen.
From eats: I might be the only one on the planet, but true confessions, I don’t go gaga for ombre anything. Or blue cakes. However. This confection with its unusually designed layer decoration, sweet hues, and whimsical crown-like topper had me at hello. Seen on the Ruffled blog, image by Jaylena Photography.
And taking home the prize for florals that aren’t floral…is this interesting and surprisingly beautiful bouquet made from the pages of a (presumably favorite) book. Coincidentally from the same wedding as the blue ombre cake.
In the fashion department, from our threads&kicks board, I must say I am loving the look of these maids for a fall/winter wedding – scarves, cardigans, tights, suede booties, and all. Oh, and I hear the dresses have pockets! Seen on Wedding Chicks, image by Kristina Curtis Photography.
And let’s not forget bride fashion. I am also loving this tea-length option from Marchesa Spring 2014, seen over at InStyle.
Rounding out the roundup, here’s our Love Letters shot of the week, from the Love Letters new products board: I am so excited to add thank you cards to complement our day-of stationery line. Available with adorable pop-of-color or simple white envelopes, these fun cards come in four type styles to match our Classic, Luxe, Whimsy, and Saissant collections. And they’re not just for weddings. Gratitude is good any old time, so consider these for yourself (or as gifts) for all your grateful occasions.
Wishing you a sunny weekend in every sense of the word! See you next week.
Introducing Love Letters' end-of-week Pinterest Pic(k)s. Every Friday here on the blog, we’ll bring you an eclectic mix of faves from our boards. If you’re not following us already, there’s an easy fix: Go to the Love Letters Pinterest page and click “follow.” Happy pinning!
First up, from our blooms board... Oh the sweetness of this bouquet captured as part of a shoot featuring gorgeously lush Claire Pettibone dresses set on the gorgeously lush Folly Estate. Seen on the Style Unveiled blog, image via This Modern Romance.
Speaking of dresses... Vera Wang is going black and white. Would you wear it? Here’s a walk-through of the 2014 collection.
From our eats board... How chic is this striped cake with just the right touch of glittery glitz in modern metallic? Brought to you by the Aussie-with-a-French-twist brilliance of The Cake That Ate Paris.
And another from the eats department... These fun cake toppers are made from water balloons. I never knew there were specially sized balloons for this purpose, but according to this post from Martha Stewart Weddings, you can find them at most supermarkets and party supply stores. Inflate the balloons and tie them to wooden coffee stirrers. Brilliant!
To round out this week’s Pic(k)s, here’s one from our tabletops board... This shot combines two of my personal favorites: orange and tulips. What a dramatic yet simple setting! Pinned from Moments of Magic via Style Me Pretty, floral design by Erica Rose.
And last but certainly not least, here’s our Love Letters shot of the week... Since it’s Take Your Dog to Work Day, I thought I’d share this one of Lucy hanging at the home office with one of her favorite letters.
Happy weekend! See you next week.
